As a Lead Engineer at DevBoost, you will be the linchpin connecting project management, strategic vision, and problem-solving. You will lead DevBoost development teams and projects, acting as a key sparring partner for Tech Leads at various software companies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead teams of 3-5 developers, collaborating closely with client development teams to implement sophisticated development processes and software architectures.
• Serve as the human interface between subject matter experts and development teams, demonstrating empathy, clarity, and technical depth.
• Act as a critical feedback provider and sparring partner, comfortable engaging at eye level with experienced developers and Tech Leads (CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Development).
• Take ownership of the collaboration with clients, acting as an active shaper of client relationships rather than a mere service provider.
• Participate in technical discussions (e.g., software architectures, CI/CD tooling, test automation) and conceptual work (e.g., refactoring strategies, development process optimization), with the ability to actively contribute to implementation.
• Moderate workshops with clients, clarify complex issues, and inspire established engineering teams with new impulses and solutions.

Qualifications:

• A strong passion for software development, staying current with trends, and a continued enjoyment of programming.
• Several years of leadership experience as a Team Lead in the tech industry, with a desire for continued growth in your role.
• Strong opinions, proficiency in providing critical feedback, and a willingness to step outside your comfort zone.
• Ability to easily adopt the client's perspective, set clear project goals, and maintain a solution-oriented approach.
• A drive for continuous personal and team development, fostering trust in yourself, your team, and your projects.
