Your Role

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to lead and strategically develop our Workplace IT infrastructure. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless operation of our entire IT infrastructure across our Ehingen (Donau) and Ulm locations, with a significant focus on integrating and managing advanced AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and strategic development for Workplace IT, ensuring the smooth operation of the entire IT infrastructure at our Ehingen (Donau) and Ulm locations.
• Manage the operation, administration, and maintenance of our system landscapes.
• Independently analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Operate, monitor, and manage APIs for Anthropic, OpenAI, and similar AI services, including cost and access control.
• Implement, maintain, and integrate productive bot, agent, and RAG solutions (Azure AI Foundry) into the corporate IT environment.
• Ensure secure, GDPR-compliant AI usage, and provide consulting and training to business departments.
• Execute IT projects and develop standards and processes for IT support.

Qualifications

• Completed IT degree, IT vocational training (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of practical experience in IT operations, including Microsoft 365 in a corporate environment and Microsoft Azure.
• Initial practical experience or strong interest in AI technologies, APIs, data processing, and AI-supported tools.
• Excellent knowledge of Windows client operating systems, including installation, error analysis, policies, user profiles, drivers, and updates.
• Previous leadership or project management experience in an IT environment.
• Strong service orientation and a structured, self-directed work approach.
• Good German language skills, both written and spoken.
