Your Role

As a (Senior) IT / Solution Architect (m/f/d) - Consulting, your task is to make our clients' system landscapes more modern, sustainable, leaner, and digital, accompanying them in their transformation into the digital and agile working world.

What Awaits You

• Develop business, solution, and software architectures for complex IT landscapes in the KRITIS environment.
• Create functional and technical target architectures and oversee their implementation.
• Coordinate and harmonize architectures from various initiatives, identifying conflicts and dependencies early on.
• Evaluate, validate, and test technologies and architecture concepts.
• Conduct architecture reviews and ensure quality regarding security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Support projects with technical planning, effort estimation, and control.
• Work closely with business, development, operations, and clients.
• Share your knowledge and strengthen sustainable architecture and engineering standards.

What We're Looking For

• Several years of in-depth experience as a Solution / Software Architect (m/f/d) in complex IT and software projects, ideally in regulated environments (e.g., energy, public sector, insurance).
• Very good knowledge of designing business, solution, and software architectures, as well as their documentation (e.g., ArchiMate, UML, C4, arc42).
• Solid experience in software development (Backend: Java, .Net, Python & Frontend: Angular, React) and a good understanding of modern technologies and platforms (Cloud, Microservices, Container, CI/CD).
• Proficiency with cloud architectures, DevOps principles, distributed systems, and common architecture patterns.
• Experience in technical requirement evaluation, stakeholder management, and deriving viable architectural decisions.
• A structured, analytical approach and the ability to communicate complex relationships clearly.
• Very good German and English language skills.
