IT Support Intern - Hardware & IT Services (Hanoi)

What You Will Be Working On

Primary Focus

This role plays a key part in maintaining a smooth and productive working environment by delivering Hardware and IT support services to Gameloft Hanoi employees. From managing hardware assets and supporting end users with technical issues to setting up workstations and improving support processes, you will help ensure the studio’s daily operations run efficiently and effectively.

What It Means on a Daily Basis

#### Hardware Service

• Register and keep track of all devices borrowed by the production teams, ensuring that the borrowers keep, maintain, and give back the devices in accordance with company regulations.
• Examine cellphone units, observe their operation, install testing programs to test and update phones’ technical specs, specific issues, and solutions, drivers, and tools into the Technical Knowledge Data Base Web Tool.
• Run HW processes (Hardware Lockbox, DMT Report, and SIM Cost…); observe and optimize processes related to the task, and raise new ideas to make HW processes effective.
• Be ready to come to the company to support emergency cases if receiving requests.

#### IT Service

• Receive support requests directly from users via emails or hotlines, log tickets to the Helpdesk system, and confirm the reception of requests to users in a timely manner.
• Set up/Revoke, Maintain/Upgrade PCs (hardware/software/connectivity) for newcomers/resigned users and Gameloft employees from other studios.
• Independently or together with the team, analyze issues, propose solutions, and implement them in accordance with ETA guidelines for common IT tasks. Main areas of support include PCs (hardware/software/connectivity), LAN cabling, Wireless, printers, fax machines, scanners, photocopying machines, projectors, fixed telephones, and other IT devices.
• Escalate serious incidents to the IT Supervisor/Manager and Management for immediate attention and decision-making.
• Support with Company Events and other administrative tasks.

Who You Are

• Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge about PC and other IT devices’ hardware/software/connectivity, including Windows and Linux operating systems; good skills in analyzing, diagnosing, and troubleshooting issues.
• Language: Fair English; Speak and Write.
