The Role

As an early Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will be a core contributor to building and scaling Skalar. This is a unique opportunity to engage in greenfield development, shaping the technology from the ground up. Your work will directly drive our revolutionary, AI-enabled customer experience, offering unparalleled simplicity.

Responsibilities (Aufgaben)

• Build 0→1 and Beyond: Ship major features and product lines end-to-end, from specification to deployment and measurement, working closely with the founders.
• Core Architecture: Implement essential APIs, data models, and UI components, making pragmatic architectural decisions with high autonomy.
• Iterate Rapidly: Deploy version 1 quickly and iterate weekly based on real user feedback.
• Leadership Potential: Opportunity to hire and mentor junior engineers as the company grows, gaining valuable leadership experience.

Tech Context (Greenfield)

Qualifications (Qualifikation)

• 5+ years of professional experience building web applications with modern frameworks (e.g., Next, React, Vue, Node, FastAPI, Tailwind).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams, with a product-minded approach and enjoyment of agile startup environments.
• Keen eye for detail, with a focus on frontend development and curiosity for backend systems.
• Experience deploying applications using containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker).
• Proven experience integrating AI deeply into daily coding tasks, beyond basic autocompletion.
• Very good written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum C1 level); German is a plus.
• A valid work permit for Germany.
