If you thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and possess a blend of strategic thinking and operational execution, this is your chance to shape the energy world of tomorrow and gain invaluable experience in a leading European scale-up.

About 1KOMMA5°

At 1KOMMA5°, we pursue a clear vision: "Living on wind and sunlight forever for free." To make this a reality, we are building the energy system of the future with Heartbeat AI. We integrate regional craftsmanship with scalable software, controlling solar, batteries, heat pumps, and e-mobility as an intelligent, integrated system within our virtual power plant, directly connected to the electricity market in real-time. Our goal is to transition 1.5 million households to renewable energies by 2030, with over 3,000 people working towards this mission worldwide.

Your Position

The CTO Office at Heartbeat AI GmbH is at the intersection of product, engineering, organizational design, and strategic operations. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you will work closely with the Heartbeat AI GmbH executive team as the product-tech organization scales and drives a fundamental shift toward AI-driven ways of working. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drive cross-team coordination: Triage incoming requests, coordinate across teams, and ensure priorities are managed effectively in a high-velocity organization.
  • Turn cross-functional initiatives into scalable processes: Lead projects end-to-end—from scoping and alignment through to delivery—and ensure the solutions you ship are scalable.
  • Apply a product builder lens: Bring genuine depth to problems, whether by creating a requirements brief, a lightweight prototype, or a structured analytical frame.
  • Prepare leadership to act decisively: Produce decision materials, pre-alignments, and follow-through structures that convert strategy sessions into clear ownership and next steps.

Your Profile

  • 2–4 years of experience in product management or a strategy and operations role at a technology company.
  • A track record of driving cross-functional projects independently, from scoping through to delivery.
  • Comfort moving between operational detail and strategic framing; writing a sharp requirements brief and running a stakeholder alignment session are equally natural.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and German (written and spoken, C1/C2 level).
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and in close proximity to senior leadership; experience working directly with founders or executives in a startup or scale-up environment is a strong plus.
  • A strong sense of ownership and a high standard for excellence.
  • A genuine interest in how AI is changing the ways of working.

Benefits

  • Be part of an international, dynamic, and highly motivated team that makes things happen.
  • Accelerate the "energy transition" and have a direct impact on our climate.
  • Work with and learn from exceptionally talented colleagues.
  • Enjoy direct contact with core decision-makers.
  • Excellent opportunities for full-time employment in one of Europe’s most thriving scale-ups.
  • Remote work within Germany, with offices in Hamburg, Berlin, or Munich.
  • Maintain a healthy work-life balance with benefits from the EGYM Wellpass.
  • Access benefits and discounts through Futurebens.
  • Flexible job bike leasing (city or e-bike) for eco-friendly commuting.
