Role Overview
The Site Construction Quality Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality assurance and quality control documentation for project installations at designated active construction sites. This role involves close communication with Construction Managers, continuous evaluation of material submittals, monitoring of construction activities, assessment of inspection reports, site inspections, review of construction schedules, and examination of customer specifications. The specialist will interpret policies, maintain official document files, and manage company equipment and property. This position can be performed remotely or at our main offices in Pineville, LA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Reviews customer specifications to confirm compliance with quality standards.
- Assigned to a specific project site to oversee quality-related activities.
- Provides quality oversight on assigned construction project(s), ensuring Construction Managers implement Beta’s Quality Assurance Program, supporting issue resolution, and performing inspections for compliance.
- Plans and evaluates all quality submittals related to materials, observations, and test reports for Beta, customer, and subcontractor scopes of work.
- Audits third-party suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality plans and procedures are followed.
- Reviews and approves third-party quality certifications for personnel working on the project site.
- Assists in reviewing plans for constructability, validating drawing notes, confirming material specifications, and verifying material quantities.
- Supports construction oversight by reviewing Beta and subcontractor schedules to ensure timely planning of quality submittals and inspections.
- Aids Project Managers or Construction Managers in resolving site-specific construction issues.
- Assists Project Managers and Construction Managers in final inspections and the development of subcontractor punch lists, supporting project close-out, final work items, and demobilization.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the Manager of Construction Quality or Director.

- This position has no direct reports.

- Operate independently while prioritizing communication and coordination with employees, teams, subcontractors, and partner organizations.
- Communicate regularly with the supervisor regarding construction quality matters.
- Serve as Beta Engineering’s representative on the construction site, consistently demonstrating professionalism and adherence to core values.
- Operate a company vehicle as required and maintain a clean driving record.
Education and Experience
- Preferred: Five or more years of industrial or commercial construction-related experience, OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction or Engineering Technician curriculum.
- Knowledge of general civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical industries is preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PDF editor.
