Responsibilities (Aufgaben)

• You know what our customers need because you know the market and can decipher our customers' purchasing behavior.
• You proactively develop our private label range and continuously seek new cooperation partners for this purpose.
• Successfully introducing innovative products into our retail range is the driver of your actions.
• What doesn't sell must go: you know this and develop proposals for assortment rationalization.
• Product knowledge is essential for sales. Therefore, you train our sales and marketing teams, making them proficient, e.g., in arguing the benefits of our private labels.
• You participate in trade fairs and congresses (including multi-day events).
• Based on continuous competitor analysis, you calculate our sales prices while adhering to defined criteria.

Profile That Fits Us (Das Profil, das zu uns passt)

• Ideally, you have a completed degree in veterinary medicine, biology, chemistry, or knowledge in the field of medical devices. Vocational training in one of these areas is also suitable.
• Hearsay is not enough: You have 2 years of professional experience in category management or purchasing; alternatively, you have an enormous desire to familiarize yourself with a new topic.
• The goal and the customer firmly in view: this is how you work.
• You love numbers and key figures and derive assortment improvements from their analysis.
• You master MS Office inside out, and VLOOKUPs are child's play for you; experience using an ERP system rounds off your IT skills.
• You are the striker in the team, love driving change.
• Entrepreneurial thinking and action are the fuels for your daily work.
• You know what our customers need, recognize business opportunities early on, and quickly become an expert (m/f/d) – also for new markets.
• Your desire for development drives you; you are curious, enthusiastic, and work creatively.
• You are a communication professional and act with assertiveness and persuasiveness.
