IT Support Specialist (m/f/d) - Public Sector

Our partner company, a key player in the public service sector in Augsburg, is seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join their team. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of their IT infrastructure and ensuring user satisfaction.

About the Role

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for users, providing essential technical assistance and ensuring a high level of service quality.

Your Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls and requests at the Service Desk, meticulously documenting all issues in the ticketing system.
• Provide support for technical topics including telematics infrastructure, secure online connections, digital services, and user access management.
• Advise users on the electronic submission of billing and documentation data, ensuring clear and understandable solutions.
• Contribute to high service quality and user satisfaction through solution-oriented communication.
• Gather feedback and complaints, and proactively identify relevant developments within the user environment.

Your Qualifications

• Completed training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker), IT system electronics technician (IT-Systemelektroniker), IT clerk (IT-Kaufmann), or a comparable IT support qualification.
• Practical technical understanding and at least initial experience in user support.
• Ideally, experience with ticketing systems, error analysis, and end-device support.
• Proficient German language skills and experience with MS Office products and M365.
