About the Role

Our partner company in Munich is seeking an Electrical Engineering Simulation Engineer (m/f/d) to model and simulate the electrical vehicle network.

Responsibilities

  • Model and simulate the electrical vehicle network using modern simulation software such as Matlab Simulink.
  • Support the development and advancement of Digital Twin approaches within the automotive environment as part of the development process.
  • Analyze physical effects like heat flow, vibrations, and EMC hotspots on assemblies and systems.
  • Collaborate closely with electronics and mechanical development teams, utilizing their simulation models for integrated solutions.
  • Evaluate and document simulation results, contributing to the optimization of system design.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a comparable engineering discipline.
  • Solid experience in simulation theory and proficiency with tools like Matlab Simulink or comparable simulation software.
  • Ideally, professional experience as a Simulation Engineer, Development Engineer, Calculation Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office and strong command of both German and English (spoken and written) are required.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability and willingness to collaborate interdisciplinarily.
