About the Role

The Customer Success Architect (CSA) team provides critical technical expertise for the post-sales customer experience. CSAs are instrumental in ensuring our customers achieve their objectives by collaborating with customers, partners, and product teams. This vital role supports multiple post-sales functions, including Go-To-Market (GTM) and Product teams.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Act as a Sigma champion and product expert, providing advice and expertise to customers.
  • Advise customers on technical best practices, including Sigma best practices, performance and tuning, security (SSO, team organization, row-level security), embedded analytics, and API access.
  • Provide guidance on related data products like CDW, ETL, and catalog tools.
  • Capture product feedback from customers and collaborate with the product team to influence the product roadmap.
  • Identify new use cases to grow accounts and pinpoint areas where Sigma can deliver maximum value, ensuring customer renewals.
  • Cultivate customer references for the marketing team.
  • Design and develop software solutions for Business Intelligence and analytics products, offering technical expertise for post-sales customer success.
  • Work directly with customers to understand business and technical requirements, implementing tailored analytics solutions.
  • Advise customers on best practices for implementation, performance, security, embedded analytics, and API access.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering teams to deliver and enhance customer solutions.
  • Document software and technical implementations.
  • Monitor deployed solutions and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Continuously learn product capabilities, release processes, and maintenance procedures to ensure successful customer outcomes.

Qualifications We Need

  • Minimum 10 years of business intelligence experience in a customer-facing technical role (customer success or consulting).
  • Strong customer relationship skills.
  • Experience with database concepts.
  • Data warehouse experience, preferably cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Experience designing, developing, and writing software and custom solutions using technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, React, GraphQL, and GitHub.
  • ETL experience.
  • Experience implementing production business intelligence solutions.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and Web Development is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Ability to work remotely full-time with up to 50% travel (eventually).
