Senior SAP BTP Developer (m/w/d)

About the Role

Our partner company in Munich is seeking a Senior SAP BTP Developer (m/f/d) to develop and implement complex workflow and automation solutions using the SAP Business Technology Platform. This role involves designing modern UI and form applications with SAP Build Apps, Fiori Elements, and SAP UI5, integrating them into existing system landscapes. You will also develop backend services and business logic using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Node.js, and manage the containerization, deployment, and operation of cloud applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or Kyma. Collaboration with business departments, architects, and development teams is key to ensuring quality, security, and adherence to Clean-Core standards.

Aufgaben (Responsibilities)

• Develop and implement complex workflow and automation solutions based on the SAP Business Technology Platform.
• Design modern UI and form applications using SAP Build Apps, Fiori Elements, and SAP UI5, integrating them into existing system landscapes.
• Develop backend services and business logic using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) based on Node.js.
• Be responsible for containerization, deployment, and operation of cloud-based applications with Docker, Kubernetes, or Kyma.
• Collaborate closely with business departments, architects, and development teams, ensuring quality, security, and Clean-Core standards.

Qualifikation (Qualifications)

• University degree in Computer Science (or Business Informatics) or a comparable qualification, e.g., IT Specialist Application Development (m/f/d) with relevant professional experience.
• Several years of experience in development on the SAP Business Technology Platform, particularly in SAP Build Process Automation and complex workflow scenarios.
• Proficient knowledge in SAP Build Apps, Fiori Elements, SAP UI5, and development with CAP, Node.js, Java, and JavaScript.
• Experience with technical integrations via OData and REST interfaces, as well as with Docker, Kubernetes, or Kyma.
• Strong analytical thinking, high degree of personal responsibility, and very good German and English language skills.
