About the Role

The Deal Desk's mission at Samsara is to drive durable and efficient growth through best-in-class deal governance. The Senior Manager will lead the Deal Desk function for EMEA markets (UK&I, France, DACH, Benelux) and Mexico, collaborating closely with senior leadership across Sales, Finance, Operations, Accounting, Legal, and Product to influence deal portfolios and achieve corporate financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Influence the deal portfolio and complex deal outcomes across EMEA and Mexico to achieve corporate financial objectives.
  • Design and maintain policies, commercial strategies, and downstream processes to support assigned Sales segments.
  • Partner cross-functionally to shape and close complex deals.
  • Foster an inclusive work environment by hiring, managing, and developing a high-performing team.
  • Contribute directly to Samsara’s business performance and success through high visibility.
  • Achieve corporate financial outcomes by providing thought leadership on high-volume Mid Market and complex Enterprise transactions.
  • Demonstrate operational excellence and evolve processes and systems for a streamlined Sales and Customer experience.
  • Partner with Sales and Finance leadership to inform and execute aligned deal strategies, including pricing, payment structures, commercial terms, legal, and product considerations.
  • Refine and improve the deal review process, documentation, and systems for standard and non-standard transactions.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships and iterate on feedback.
  • Utilize data and real-time reporting to identify improvements, inform solutions, execute initiatives, and communicate results.
  • Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing global team.
  • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles.

Minimum Requirements

  • 10+ years of combined experience in Deal Desk, Finance, Sales, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or equivalent roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in complex deal negotiations.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate financial goals into deal support strategy.
  • Track record of executing strategic programs, including process improvements and systems enhancements.
  • Proven ability to hire, manage, and develop talent and lead high-performing teams.
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and manage initiatives using an OKR system.
  • Ability to work with senior management and Enterprise Customers, distill key concepts, and influence business choices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and make data-driven conclusions.
  • Proficiency in CRM, CPQ, and CLM tools, and familiarity with downstream systems (e.g., ERP, reporting visualizations).

Ideal Candidate Also Has:

  • Experience managing a Deal Desk or Commercial Management team in a high-growth SaaS business ($1 billion + ARR).
  • Proficiency in deal management, contract management, and pricing optimization.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and NetSuite.

  • This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the UK.
