Controller (m/f/d) – Risk Management in Banking

Our partner company in Frankfurt am Main is seeking a dedicated Controller (m/f/d) specializing in Risk Management to join their team at the earliest possible opportunity.

Responsibilities

• As a specialist in Risk Controlling (m/f/d), you will record and analyze relevant risk data in bank-specific systems such as VR-Control.
• You will support the creation of risk reports and capital planning within the regulatory environment.
• Actively participate in the development, execution, and validation of stress testing scenarios.
• Accompany the annual risk inventory and prepare regulatory reports for internal and external bodies.
• Create and maintain internal policies and drive the continuous improvement of processes.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial apprenticeship, e.g., as a Bank Clerk (m/f/d), ideally with further training as a Bank Specialist (m/f/d) or Business Administrator (m/f/d).
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in risk controlling or reporting within the banking or financial services sector.
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Proficiency in handling large datasets and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Analytical thinking, structured work approach, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
