Technical Consultant (Digital Forensics & Analysis)

Arina is a 25-year-old sales and integration company for specialized software and hardware solutions in digital investigation and analysis technologies, focusing on Digital Forensics, Mobile Forensics, eDiscovery, OSINT, and Blockchain Intelligence. Our team of 20 employees is based in Zurich (CH) and Munich (DE), with additional home offices in the DACH region. Responsibilities

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of various software and hardware solutions in digital forensics.
  • Advise clients on the evaluation and implementation of solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Support the installation, configuration, and integration of products (on-premise and cloud) into diverse IT landscapes.
  • Design, program, and develop workflows and automations for forensic software products, particularly focusing on Nuix Automate and scripting in Python, Ruby, PowerShell, and Bash for laboratory automation.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize existing customer environments, including performance analysis, error correction, and enhancement of automation processes.
  • Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for customers.
  • Collaborate with sales teams on pre-sales activities and support the Professional Services team on customer projects.
  • Continuously monitor relevant trends like Artificial Intelligence, cloud, and container technologies to drive solution development and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Completed IT basic training (EFZ) or degree, with at least three years of practical experience in software development or scripting using languages such as Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Bash, or comparable technologies.
  • Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems, and solid knowledge of network technologies, TCP/IP, security, and virtualization.
  • Experience in automating technical processes, ideally related to workflows, interfaces, REST APIs, or integrating different software products.
  • Analytical thinking and a structured approach to troubleshooting, performance analysis, and technical problem-solving.
  • Experience in direct customer contact, with enjoyment in consulting, presentations, technical workshops, and training.
  • Nice-to-have: Knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, Kubernetes, Docker, Elasticsearch, or cloud technologies.
  • Significant Plus: Experience in digital forensics or eDiscovery.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills, and willingness to travel within the DACH region.
