Job Summary
This Technical Project Manager role supports the expansion of B2C digital initiatives for a global media organization, with a focus on building and scaling digital advertising opportunities. You will collaborate closely with product and revenue teams to implement, test, monitor, and troubleshoot CMS-based digital integrations, ensuring ADA accessibility compliance and platform reliability. The ideal candidate possesses strong experience in advertising technology, ad server environments, and performance optimization, with the ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality implementations in fast-paced settings.
Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, including defining goals, deliverables, tasks, milestones, and tracking change requests.
- Lead project planning and progress tracking, collaborating on estimates and schedules for timely delivery.
- Serve as team lead, assembling cross-functional teams, monitoring performance, maintaining motivation, and managing conflicts.
- Develop and execute risk management plans, identifying potential risks and defining mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders (clients, account managers, internal teams) to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Document QA processes, implementation procedures, ad formats, and technical specifications for knowledge sharing.
- Support the rollout of new products and the implementation of technical integrations for new advertising vendors.
- Ensure compliance with privacy, data protection, consent, accessibility, and other regulatory requirements.
- Monitor performance data in Google Ad Manager, SSPs, and other third-party systems, providing optimization insights.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in a Technical Project Manager or similar role.
- Experience with CMS-based products (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, Sitefinity, Kentico) is preferred.
- Experience with both Fixed Price / Fixed Timeline and Time & Materials delivery models.
- Strong understanding of traditional and agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, hybrid).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to translate high-level requirements into clear documentation for developers.
- Strong collaboration skills with business, product, and technical teams.
- Ability to review and intervene in user stories to ensure they meet the Definition of Ready.
- Technical understanding of systems and technologies to communicate concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain and publish project reporting and prepare executive presentations.
- Experience identifying and reporting risks, defining action plans, and mitigation strategies.
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Trello, Excel, Notion, Confluence).
- Understanding of data tracking tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) with basic dashboard interpretation knowledge.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS).
- Basic understanding of project financial management (budgeting, costs, revenue, P&L).
- Exposure to financial data processing systems, identity management solutions, and high-traffic architectures.
- Familiarity with infrastructure and security concepts (CDN, WAF, DDoS protection).
- Experience collaborating with or managing UX/UI designers and frontend teams.
