About the Role
This is a full-time position, offered through direct placement with the new employer, who is looking for a long-term commitment. The role involves managing and controlling the external payroll service provider for all payroll-related matters in the EMEA region, ensuring correct and timely processing of monthly payrolls for approximately 350 employees across EMEA.
Responsibilities
- Manage and control the external payroll service provider in all payroll-related matters for the EMEA region, coordinating with local HR colleagues.
- Ensure the correct and timely preparation of monthly payrolls for the EMEA companies of the group, including the administration of national and foreign employees and the entire reporting and certification system (approx. 350 employees).
- Act as the central point of contact for company pension schemes in the EMEA region.
- Manage the time tracking system in the EMEA region in collaboration with the HR representative.
- Coordinate external audits with auditors, tax authorities, and social security institutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external consultants on tax, social security, and other applicable laws.
- Participate in salary increases and bonus rounds.
- Serve as a contact person for insurers and professional liability insurance, and prepare specific certificates.
- Contribute to EMEA-wide projects for the definition and optimization of HR processes.
- Manage social benefits in the EMEA region.
- Handle HR reporting and support HR controlling.
- Support HR representatives with administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Solid professional experience and knowledge in payroll accounting, tax law, social security law, labor law, and company pension schemes.
- Experience in collaborating with and managing an external payroll service provider.
- Professional experience in compensation and benefits, as well as HR controlling.
- Knowledge of human resources and detailed methodological knowledge in business process management and design.
- High customer orientation, reliability, and confidence in handling complex cross-border issues.
- Strong communication and conflict management skills, with a reliable and solution-oriented approach to clients at various hierarchical levels.
- Ideally, good SAP knowledge.
- Very good written and spoken German and English language skills, ideally with additional languages.
