About the Cloud Capability

The Cloud Capability serves as the innovation hub and driving force behind Credera’s cloud expertise. We are specialists in all aspects of cloud technology, encompassing cloud-native application architecture, cloud migrations, and advisory services. We harness cloud-native technologies across AWS, Azure, and GCP to architect and implement solutions for our clients. Within the Cloud Capability, you may engage in areas such as cloud-native development, cloud platform engineering, cloud data ingestion, cloud migration & adoption, or cloud strategy.

About the Role

As a Senior Cloud Consultant, you will function as a technical leader or Subject Matter Expert (SME) within a small team dedicated to solving our clients' most complex problems. Your responsibilities will include assisting the team in designing and estimating implementation tasks, leading implementation workstreams, and mentoring junior team members. Our projects encompass a wide range, from re-architecting legacy systems and building greenfield applications natively in the cloud, to establishing landing zones, configuring account structures, and managing data ingestion into the cloud.

Who You Are:

• Possess 1-3 years of hands-on experience delivering enterprise cloud solutions across multiple domains within industry or technology consulting.
• Frequently recognized as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and sought after by team members for your technical expertise and insights.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of cloud solution architecture within one or more major cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Exhibit technical knowledge and experience in several of the following areas:
• Cloud Native Tooling (e.g., AWS: Lambda, Aurora, EC2, Fargate, S3; Azure: Functions, Queue Storage, Cosmos DB, App Services; GCP: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions)
• Cloud Platform Engineering (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Cloud Data Engineering (e.g., AWS: Athena, Glue, Redshift; Azure: Blob Storage, Data Lake Analytics; GCP: BigQuery, Looker, Cloud Storage)
• Cloud Security Engineering (e.g., AWS: Cognito, IAM, Guard Duty, Security Hub; Azure: AD, Advanced Threat Protection; GCP: Chronicle Virus Total, Cloud Monitoring)
• Cloud FinOps (e.g., CloudHealth, Cloudability, Billing)
• Cloud Migration Advisor (e.g., AWS: DMS, Snow cone/ball/mobile; Azure: Database Migration Services; GCP: Migrate for Anthos and GKE, Ramp, Data Transfer Services)
• Proven ability to rapidly learn and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and standards.
• A passion for technology, staying current with the latest application and cloud development trends across all software development disciplines and processes.
• Enjoy collaborating within a team of talented individuals to solve challenging problems with creative solutions.
• Comfortable presenting technical concepts to both business and technical client audiences.

Hybrid Work Model:

Our employees benefit from the flexibility to work remotely two days per week. We expect team members to spend three days per week in person, with the flexibility to choose days and times that best suit them, their project, and internal teams. This could be at a Credera office or client site. You will collaborate closely with your project team to balance flexibility with the connection of being together to produce outstanding results for our clients.

Travel:

Our goal is to minimize out-of-market travel, with most projects not requiring significant travel. While certain projects may require frequent travel (up to 80% for a period), our average travel percentage over a year for team members typically falls between 10-30%. We approach travel on a personal level, considering your submitted preferences when aligning you to roles.

The salary range listed is for informational purposes only. Credera considers individual qualifications, including professional and academic experience, specialized training, certifications, and responsibilities, when determining compensation. The listed range is one component of our total compensation package. Senior-level employees may be eligible for variable compensation.
