The Business Insider Fellowship Program provides a six-month immersive experience for early-career journalists. This paid, typically hybrid role (with potential for remote consideration for exceptional candidates) prepares you for the next phase of your journalism career.
As a Weekend Reporting Fellow, you will write news stories focusing on the impact of technology, corporations, and the economy on workers and the average person. This includes topics like AI's effect on the workforce, data center impacts on communities, inflation's effect on groceries, and geopolitical influences on energy prices. You will also cover business personalities, consumer trends, real estate, and other innovations. Your work will involve research, writing, pitching, interviewing, and regular fast-turnaround original reporting. Travel assignments may be pitched but are not required.
This role requires a Wednesday-Sunday schedule and reports to the Senior Weekend Editor on the Business News team.
