Role Overview

IDEOlogy Health is seeking an ambitious and business-savvy Account Associate with experience in establishing trusting relationships to retain and grow our oncology clients. This individual will thrive in a fast-paced, startup mentality environment, consistently demonstrating the ability to proactively identify and address client needs and develop strategic growth opportunities. The Account Associate will collaborate effectively across the organization while developing genuine, long-term business relationships to drive profitable revenue and ensure a positive client experience. Success requires a strong understanding of sales, business intelligence, organizational skills, medical education, social media, oncology, and the biopharma industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead account management for assigned customers, including contracting, invoicing, client status calls, and ongoing projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, overseeing all aspects of account management.
  • Lead IDEOlogy Health conference sponsorships and related client-facing activities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, ensuring expectations are met and needs are proactively addressed.
  • Provide timely updates to clients, prepare presentations, identify opportunities for account growth, and lead ongoing client status calls.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to research client objectives and develop tailored solutions that drive results and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Liaise with existing and new clients at conferences, virtual meetings, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Stay informed on trends and developments in the oncology market; develop and maintain prospect lists and track engagement with current accounts.
  • Support client scheduling, communications, and pipeline tracking to ensure smooth operations and business continuity.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 3+ years of proven experience in a similar role. Previous Medical Education experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, project management abilities, and a detail-oriented approach to meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior-level leaders both internally and within client organizations.
  • Sound working knowledge of current role responsibilities and the technical systems, applications, and equipment used, understanding the impact on other business functions.
  • Efficient time management through prioritizing and planning work activities.
  • Ability to make independent and sound decisions in all situations.
  • Commitment to setting high standards and measures of excellence for quality assurance.
  • Effectiveness and flexibility in adapting to changing environments, responsibilities, tasks, and people.
  • Timely issue identification and resolution, with the ability to act quickly.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Products, Zoom Meetings, and project management software.
  • Regular travel required.
