We embed within customer teams to provide strategic guidance, facilitate technology decisions, and execute projects in a collaborative, co-development style.
What You Will Do
- Lead and manage the successful delivery of engagements to drive customer adoption of Google Cloud services, including Google Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Anthos, and AI/Machine Learning capabilities.
- Engage regularly with diverse stakeholder groups, including executives of large enterprises and cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams within Google.
- Gather requirements, scope engagements, plan, and deliver service offerings to accelerate the cloud adoption journey.
- Utilize relationship management, leadership skills, and technical background to lead others.
- Proactively mitigate risks, resolve issues, and advance projects effectively.
- Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
What We Need
- Customer-facing experience, interfacing with executive stakeholders, and driving/managing/delivering IT technical implementations, transformation programs, or other initiatives.
- Experience supporting enterprise customers in one of the following: Cloud Professional Services organizations, comparable IT consulting, or program management organizations.
- A history of mentoring and/or teaching others to use process, organization, change, and/or learning improvement methodologies.
- Ability to create and run measurement systems to track adoption, utilization, and proficiency of individual changes; identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions.
- Ability to work with project teams to integrate change management activities into overall project plans.
- Adaptable self-starter skilled at creating structure in ambiguous environments.
- Strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills; rigorous approach to project management to deliver enterprise-level projects.
- Comfortable being on video in internal and client meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in value consulting, proposal development, and execution with public cloud providers like Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
