About the Role
ProSidian is seeking a Delivery Process Engineer to support the U.S. Department of Energy's Loan Programs Office (LPO) within the Energy Dominance Financing (EDF) Program. This role is central to providing Independent Engineering (IE) advisory services, with a focus on Program Governance. You will be responsible for enhancing delivery workflows, optimizing engineering processes, refining review protocols, and ensuring quality assurance across task order execution. Your contributions will be vital for the successful technical review and oversight of energy infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Independent Engineering (IE) advisory support for the EDF Program, focusing on delivery workflows, engineering processes, review protocols, and task order execution.
- Review project documentation and evaluate technical and commercial interfaces.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies related to process and governance.
- Support Conditions Precedent and disbursement readiness reviews.
- Prepare defensible work products, including process maps, stage-gate controls, deliverable templates, workflow metrics, and continuous improvement recommendations.
- Coordinate with engineering, finance, legal, construction, operations, HSE, and project controls stakeholders to facilitate timely lender and DOE decision-making.
- Participate in data room reviews, borrower/contractor interviews, and site observations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant engineering, construction, operations, compliance, risk, finance, or energy infrastructure advisory experience.
- Demonstrated experience with oil and gas, power, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects for owners, lenders, independent engineers, or federal clients.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Geoscience, Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or related technical field).
- Certifications: PE, PMP, CSP, API, NACE/AMPP, PMI, or relevant discipline-specific credentials are preferred.
- Skills:
- Independent engineering review and technical due diligence.
- Proficiency in U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Loan Programs Office (LPO) style documentation.
- Expertise in delivery workflows, engineering processes, review protocols, and task order execution.
- Risk assessment and analysis.
- Data room review and information request tracking.
- Strong report writing and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Excel-based analysis and data analytics tools.
- Effective stakeholder coordination and communication.
- Competencies: Technical judgment, independence, analytical rigor, attention to detail, client service orientation, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights.
Business Tools Proficiency
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
