About the Role

As a People Lead, you will be instrumental in supporting and empowering our globally dispersed engineering teams. You will cultivate a supportive, structured, and high-performance environment, leveraging your exceptional relationship-building skills and emotional intelligence to foster trust, drive accountability, and ensure our people thrive. This role is designed for someone highly organized, proactive, confident in handling sensitive situations, and motivated by the success of others within a fully remote, multicultural organization.

What You’ll Do

• Build strong, trusting relationships with engineers across multiple time zones and cultures.
• Lead effective one-on-one and team meetings, balancing facilitation with note-taking and action item follow-up.
• Set and reinforce clear expectations for engineering roles, ensuring alignment, fairness, and transparency.
• Manage the full performance management cycle, guiding teams through development planning, tracking progress, and providing constructive feedback.
• Monitor challenges, provide support, and conduct appraisals according to company guidelines.
• Support and encourage individual growth and performance.
• Navigate sensitive conversations with professionalism, emotional intelligence, and an open mind.
• Assist engineers through conflicts, blockers, and personal or professional challenges with empathy and discretion.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to maintain strong communication and alignment on organizational goals.
• Guide teams through organizational transitions, providing stability and maintaining morale during periods of uncertainty.
• Maintain team engagement and productivity during change.
• Help shape and champion a culture of openness, accountability, and respect.
