The Opportunity: Senior Compensation Analyst

As our Senior Compensation Analyst, you will be at the heart of building compensation programs that attract passionate individuals dedicated to improving lives. You will play a crucial role in developing programs that are competitive, equitable, and transparent, ensuring our talent strategy supports our overarching mission.

What You'll Do

  • Annual Compensation Review: Manage the entire annual review process, including Workday configuration, HRBP collaboration, and developing clear communications and training.
  • Market Intelligence: Lead market intelligence strategy by administering benchmarking tools, participating in compensation surveys, and executing position-to-market analyses.
  • Workday Data Integrity: Maintain and oversee compensation data in Workday, managing day-to-day operations, approvals, and system optimization.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Conduct data analysis, model compensation scenarios, and use data storytelling to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Offer Consultation: Serve as a trusted advisor to Recruiters on internal and external offers, ensuring alignment with the compensation philosophy.
  • Cross-Functional Partnerships: Collaborate with Finance, Payroll, and HRIS on reporting and projects.
  • Equity Program Management: Manage Flatiron's equity program, serving as the expert for employees and ensuring understanding of their awards. Identify and develop employee training opportunities.
  • Project Leadership: Lead high-priority total rewards projects.

Who You Are

  • Experience:
  • 4+ years of progressive compensation experience across the full lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience managing compensation data in Workday, including the Advanced Compensation module.
  • Strong understanding of compensation laws and regulations (FLSA, pay equity, etc.).
  • Proven ability to work effectively in matrixed environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, modeling) and Workday.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for translating complex concepts.
  • Highly organized with strong project management capabilities.
  • Curiosity for leveraging AI tools to drive efficiency and automation.

Extra Credit

  • Experience with benchmarking software (e.g., Payfactors).
  • Experience with equity administration and Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program administration.
  • CCP certification or other relevant certifications.
  • Life Sciences or technology industry experience.
