Content Strategist

About the Position

Mint Studios is a content marketing agency that empowers fintech companies like Primer, Yapily, SAP Fioneer, and WorldFirst to acquire customers and establish thought leadership through expertly crafted content. We transform company blogs into powerful customer acquisition channels using a four-step framework: aligning on commercial outcomes, developing bottom-of-the-funnel content strategies based on customer research, creating interview-based content tailored to the reader's level, and tracking/reporting commercial results.

We are looking for a full-time remote Content Strategist to lead content strategy for multiple clients. In this client-facing role, you will work closely with our founder, other strategists, and writers to help clients achieve their primary goal: customer acquisition through content. While fintech or financial services experience is not mandatory (we'll teach you), we highly value attitude, exceptional writing skills, and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

Your primary role is to serve as a trusted advisor to clients, developing and executing strategies that drive customer acquisition through content. Key activities include:

• Content Strategy & Performance: Generate monthly content ideas aligned with client goals, ensure visibility in AI search/LLMs, monitor results (traffic, acquisition, rankings), and present outcomes via Looker dashboards.
• Content Production Process: Lead expert interviews, prepare questions, manage Trello workflows, and guide writers from drafts to final Clearscope-optimized articles.
• Editing & Publishing: Edit and finalize drafts, manage client feedback, and upload polished articles into the client’s CMS.
• Client Management: Conduct weekly/fortnightly calls, provide status updates, address client inquiries, and manage out-of-scope requests.
• Writing: Continue to hone your writing craft by writing content for clients and Mint Studios.
• Team Collaboration & Growth: Participate in strategy calls, brainstorm solutions, and engage in monthly one-on-ones focused on career development.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $60,000 - $80,000
• Holidays: 32 days (including public holidays)

Our Interview Process

1. Apply: Submit your application, even if you don't feel 100% confident.
2. Screening Call: An introductory call if your application is of interest.
3. Paid Writing Test: A 500-1000 word article for $200.
4. Paid Project: A short strategy project for a hypothetical client for $200.
5. Final Interview: A final interview, ideally in person (travel reimbursed), to assess cultural fit.
6. Offer: Receive your job offer via email.

What Happens Once You're Hired?

You'll receive a 30/60/90-day plan to guide your onboarding and success. The initial 60 days focus on writing for clients to master our methodology, followed by shadowing strategists and eventually leading client strategy independently. Monthly one-on-ones with the founder will support your career development.
