Senior Infrastructure Engineer (m/w/d)

About the Role

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d) at tectake, you will design and operate the central IT infrastructure. Your focus will be on ensuring a stable, secure, and future-proof operation of our on-premises and cloud environments, while continuously driving their development. You will take responsibility for challenging infrastructure projects and actively contribute to architectural and technology decisions.

Your Responsibilities

• Plan, conceptualize, implement, and operate modern IT infrastructures, actively participating in IT projects and sub-projects.
• Operate and continuously develop the central system landscape (Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, backup, and storage).
• Administer and optimize Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and cloud and identity services, including MFA and SSO.
• Take responsibility for the operation, integration, and security of cloud and SaaS environments (e.g., Azure and Google Services).
• Assume responsibility for network, infrastructure, and IT security components and continuously develop them.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize the IT infrastructure regarding availability, performance, and security.
• Automate IT processes through scripting and standardization.
• Support 2nd-level support and participate in incident and problem management, including collaboration with external security partners (MDR).
• Ensure IT security and authorization concepts, document them, and continuously develop them.

Your Requirements

• Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, a comparable apprenticeship, or qualification.
• Experience in the operation and further development of complex IT infrastructures.
• Very good knowledge of the Microsoft environment (Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, PowerShell).
• Experience with cloud platforms, virtualization, backup, storage, network, and security solutions.
• Good knowledge of Linux and ideally VoIP technologies.
• Experience in automation and scripting.
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
• Very good German and English language skills and occasional willingness to travel.
