Responsibilities

• System Ownership: Take professional and technical responsibility for our CAD, PLM, and adjacent CAM applications (including interfaces) and drive their further development.
• Consulting & Requirements Management: As the central point of contact for the business units, analyze business requirements, assess their feasibility, and translate them into smart, viable IT solutions.
• Project & Release Management: From planning to rollout – manage changes, upgrades, and maintenance projects together with internal and external partners, and conduct the necessary functional and integration tests.
• Support & Steering: Steer the 2nd-level support and ensure smooth collaboration with 1st-level, 3rd-level support, as well as external service providers and system manufacturers.
• Harmonization: Actively shape the standardization of our processes and harmonize system requirements across different locations and departments.

Qualifications

• Your Foundation: A completed degree (Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Business Engineering, or similar) or comparable technical qualification.
• Experience: You bring several years of practical experience in application support, IT system administration, or a similar role.
• Tech Know-How: You possess in-depth knowledge in the CAD/PLM environment (ideally in systems like Creo, CATIA, or Windchill) – or have extremely strong fundamental technical knowledge and the motivation to quickly familiarize yourself with these systems.
• Skillset: You can penetrate complex processes, create technical documentation, and communicate with diverse stakeholders at eye level.
