At a Glance

The NSPB Senior Consultant provides deep technical and functional expertise utilizing industry experience, business analysis, best practices, and a pragmatic mindset to facilitate clients’ planning and performance management requirements. This individual serves as a hands-on Senior Consultant responsible for the implementation and support of NSPB solutions integrated with NetSuite. The Senior Consultant works closely with Project Managers, Principal Consultants, and Solution Architects to deliver successful customer outcomes while contributing to ongoing practice development initiatives.

Your Role

  • Serve as a Senior Consultant on NSPB implementation projects integrated with NetSuite, translating business requirements into scalable EPM technical designs (remote or in-person).
  • Participate in solution delivery responsibilities across all project phases: discovery, design, build, testing, training, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with Principal Consultants and Solution Architects to address technical and solution challenges.
  • Perform fit/gap analysis on business requirements for system design and execution.
  • Design and build multidimensional planning models, metadata structures, business rules, calculations, dashboards, and data integrations within NSPB.
  • Develop and implement integrations between NSPB and NetSuite, including data mappings, transformation logic, and automation frameworks.
  • Assist in developing technical architecture documentation, data flow diagrams, and integration frameworks.
  • Collaborate with in-house development and functional teams to implement custom solutions and develop Technical Design Documents.
  • Execute data integration activities between NSPB, NetSuite, and other systems.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing EPM and NetSuite planning best practices.
  • Support user acceptance testing, training activities, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Contribute to internal MHI initiatives: solution accelerators, knowledge sharing, and EPM education.
  • Continue developing NSPB product expertise.
  • May require flexibility in working hours (nights/weekends) for project deadlines.
  • Limited travel expected, varying by client and project demands.
  • Build client relationships by managing expectations, addressing concerns, and delivering high client satisfaction.

Your Background

  • 5-8+ years of relevant EPM, FP&A systems, or consulting experience with specialization in planning and performance management solutions.
  • Undergraduate degree or MBA in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or relevant field.
  • Strong background in finance/accounting, FP&A processes, consulting, and advisory services.
  • Experience in solution design and implementation across various project sizes, including enterprise-level EPM implementations.
  • Multiple end-to-end NSPB implementations with strong hands-on technical and functional experience.
  • Hands-on NetSuite experience strongly preferred, with a strong understanding of NetSuite data structures and financial processes.
  • Strong knowledge of multidimensional modeling, business rules, and planning frameworks.
  • Experience with EPM technical capabilities: data integrations, REST APIs, Groovy scripting, calculation optimization, security design.
  • Experience integrating NSPB with NetSuite strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage individual workstreams end-to-end in a structured delivery environment (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).

Salary Range (US-based candidates)

Estimated: $105,000 - $150,000 USD base salary.
