Kreditanalyst (m/w/d)

About the Role

For our client, an international banking house, we are looking for an experienced Credit Analyst (m/f/d) at the Frankfurt am Main location in permanent employment.

Responsibilities

Credit Assessment

• Analysis of customer creditworthiness using quantitative and qualitative factors
• Conducting rating reviews and updates for international corporate clients
• Preparation of credit assessment reports and presentations for the credit committee
• Preparation of meetings for the credit committee and creation of meeting minutes

Credit Management

• Review of suspensive conditions for credit disbursement
• Monitoring existing customers / exposures according to internal and external rules
• Reporting of large exposures and loans from EUR 1 million to the Deutsche Bundesbank, including customer data management ("master data")
• Management of pledged loans for refinancing with the Bundesbank ("MACCS")
• Risk reporting to the local board and headquarters
• Creation and management of credit files (in paper and digital form)
• Support for Corporate Banking and Operations in credit-related matters

Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies in economics, finance, or banking
• Several years of professional experience in front-office, middle-office, or risk management of commercial banks
• Good know-how in credit assessment, valuation, and risk analysis of corporate clients
• Professional experience in credit restructuring / NPL
• Knowledge of financial, economic, and accounting standards
• Knowledge of banking supervisory requirements in Germany (e.g., Banking Act, MaRisk)
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Fluent German and English language skills
