IT System Administrator (m/w/d)

About the Role

We are looking for you – a dedicated IT System Administrator (m/f/d) who wants more than just sorting cables. In this responsible role, you will strengthen our IT team and actively support us in the administration and further development of our IT infrastructure. Whether server maintenance, network upkeep, or user support – you ensure that our systems run reliably and stably and contribute significantly to the digital advancement of our company.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the smooth IT-supported work of our employees.
• Administration of our heterogeneous server & client landscape (AD management, group policies, central rollout of updates & new software, rights management, network, telephone system, Windows Server).
• Procurement of hardware.
• Installation, configuration, and testing of hardware and software.
• Support in concept development and further development of IT systems (internal/external).
• Point of contact & troubleshooting for IT-related problems and disruptions.

Qualifications

• You have a successfully completed apprenticeship in the IT field, e.g., as a Certified IT Systems Integrator or a comparable qualification and/or a degree in the aforementioned field (e.g., Computer Science), or you are an exceptionally dedicated career changer with professional experience.
• You have very good knowledge in the administration of Microsoft system environments, knowledge of Linux operating systems, and experience with relevant tools (e.g., PowerShell).
• You possess profound know-how in virtualization.
• You are well-versed in the Microsoft 365 environment.
• You have a high technical affinity and a strong interest in understanding new topics, programs, and products.
• Willingness for structured training in new tasks.
• Ability for logical thinking as well as independent, reliable, and structured work.
• Solution-oriented approach.
