Remote Mechanical Engineer - Semiconductor Facility Project

We are seeking a skilled Remote Mechanical Engineer to support a premier U.S.-based MEP engineering firm on a high-profile semiconductor facility project. In this role, you will be a key member of a multidisciplinary design team, contributing to technically complex, mission-critical facility projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support mechanical system design for semiconductor and high-tech facilities, including cleanrooms, manufacturing areas, utility plants, and support spaces.
  • Primary focus on the design and documentation of HVAC and cleanroom systems.
  • Provide secondary support for process piping, chilled water, plumbing, and fire protection coordination.
  • Develop construction documents and technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinate across MEP disciplines.
  • Utilize Bluebeam for document review and project coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
  • 7–12 years of experience in MEP mechanical design.
  • Strong emphasis on HVAC and cleanroom system design; experience with semiconductor or similarly complex technical facilities is highly preferred.
  • Experience with process piping, chilled water, plumbing, and fire protection coordination.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam (required).
  • Familiarity with Navisworks, Trace, or similar software is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (required).
  • Available to start mid-July 2026.
