Position Summary

Perforce Software is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join our Delphix team in Argentina or Chile. This role is critical to our success in the region, offering a great opportunity to make a positive impact on our customers, partners, and the extended Delphix family. While we seek an autonomous and creative individual, this role also requires strong teamwork to partner effectively with the Go-To-Market team. Customer satisfaction and success are paramount for building a long-term subscription licensing business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop technical sales efforts for key accounts.
  • Conduct extensive discovery on business objectives, challenges, use cases, and technical architecture/topology.
  • Position Delphix within the customer’s digital transformation journey, highlighting its role in data discovery, automated compliance, accelerated software delivery, cloud migration, and AI technology adoption.
  • Customize and deliver presentations, demos, workshops, and Proof of Concept (POC) trials, demonstrating Delphix's capabilities and ROI while effectively differentiating from competitors.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the customer and Perforce/Delphix Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Support teams.
  • Educate customers on the Delphix value proposition and assist them in quantifying its technical, project, and LOB-level business value.
  • Collaborate with customers to optimize deployment pipelines, implement DevOps best practices, enable automated testing, and realize continuous integration/delivery.
  • Partner with Sales and Field Services to create joint sales strategies aimed at exceeding revenue objectives and expanding customer adoption of Delphix.
  • Develop and enhance reusable technical assets to scale presales efforts.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English and Spanish (verbal & written).
  • Availability for approximately 30% travel (primarily regional).
  • Superior listening, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management and coordination skills within a matrixed organization.
  • Highly entrepreneurial spirit with high energy, dedication, and a drive to succeed.
  • Confident demeanor with pragmatism to deliver results despite obstacles.
  • High commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
  • Strong sense of personal ownership and responsibility.
  • Professional experience designing and delivering technology solutions (cloud platform solutions are a plus).
  • 7+ years of experience in one of the following technology areas: DevOps/CI/CD/TDM, Cloud, Data Masking & Governance, Data Management, or Database Technologies (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL, Postgres, Amazon RDS, change data capture, etc.).
  • 5+ years of experience in software technology sales, technical consulting, technical solution design, or commensurate experience.
  • Extensive experience presenting to executives, IT, business leaders, and technology teams.
  • Familiarity with DevOps Tools, Cloud services, TDM tools, or software frameworks (TOGAF, ITIL, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience with source control, testing, continuous integration, and group management DevOps tools such as Puppet, Chef, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, Jira, Selenium, etc. is a plus.
  • OS administration (Linux, Windows) and networking troubleshooting skills.

AI Fluency:

  • Level 1: Basic AI User (Foundation) - Uses approved AI tools to support daily work, writes basic prompts, and reviews outputs for accuracy while following security, privacy, and Responsible AI guidelines.
  • All employees are expected to demonstrate AI fluency appropriate to their role and level, including responsible use of AI tools, sound judgment, and adherence to company AI governance and security policy standards.
