The Opportunity
This field-based position is located in St. Petersburg, FL, within the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) division. As a global leader in CRM technologies, we focus on innovative solutions to improve the treatment of heart arrhythmias.
What You’ll Work On:
Under general direction, the CRM Product Support Specialist provides comprehensive engineering, sales, educational, and technical support. You will be the primary contact for inquiries from physicians, healthcare professionals, patients, and field sales staff regarding CRM products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Interface: Act as a senior clinical liaison between the medical community and the business.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain credible business relationships with customers, sharing product expertise.
- Comprehensive Support: Provide engineering, sales, education, and clinical support for CRM products, including regional case coverage.
- Training and Education: Develop and lead training sessions on CRM products for healthcare professionals.
- Sales Support: Offer back-up support to the Cardiac Rhythm Team, including sales support, regional training seminars, clinical studies, troubleshooting, and new product training.
- Mentorship: Mentor and provide leadership to less experienced Clinical Specialists.
- Skill Development: Continuously enhance engineering, sales, and technical skills related to Arrhythmia Management strategy.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Medical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent healthcare experience.
- 3+ years of related experience or certification from an accredited cardiac training program.
- Certifications in CRM products.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cardiology, electro-physiology, or cardiac electro-physiology procedures.
- Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures and protocols.
- Advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems.
- Ability to apply engineering skills to interpret and solve complex clinical problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and capable of working independently.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and manage multiple assignments.
- Proficiency with personal computers, including Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent.
