The Role: Paid Media Senior Strategist

The Paid Media Senior Strategist is responsible for the execution, performance, and growth of marketing services within their book of business. You will service the most complex, enterprise-level accounts, demonstrating mastery over Paid Media advertising and understanding its impact on the broader media mix. This role requires exceptional ability to work under pressure, navigate client inquiries, and drive client business success by tying efforts to overarching business goals. You will own reporting, optimizations, client communication, and campaign management, often with specialist support, providing forward-thinking strategy and insights.

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise-level account campaign management, including daily optimizations, campaign creation, and high-level strategy ownership.
  • Provide intelligent analysis, interpretation, and action plans based on campaign performance data and client-specific data sources (e.g., GA, Shopify).
  • Participate in weekly department scrums and training sessions to enhance channel knowledge.
  • Continuously strive to improve campaign performance against client goals.
  • Maintain frequent and excellent communication with internal agency teams and external clients.
  • Utilize available AI and outsource resources to assist in workflow.
  • Participate in the development of new department training materials.
  • Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes.
  • Utilize and leverage Power Digital’s Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department.

Role Requirements

  • 4-5 years of digital marketing experience, with at least 3 years in an agency setting.
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Search Engine Marketing, including campaign development and optimization processes (bid optimization, keyword research, ad copy development) on large, enterprise-level accounts.
  • Significant campaign management experience in 3 or more of the following campaign types:
  • Performance Max
  • Standard Shopping
  • YouTube Ads
  • Display Advertising
  • Local campaigns
  • Bing Ads
  • Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office Suite(s).
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics.
  • Expert knowledge of funnel marketing and paid media's role within the marketing funnel.
  • Strong ability to formulate meaningful insights from marketing data, articulating the story behind the numbers.
  • Other essential skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly and independently.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • $13.5k team-member EBITDA.
  • Maintain below 10% Client Churn Rate.
  • 4-6 Accounts (complex/large accounts in the top 100 of the agency).

  • Internal communication.
