The Team

This is a small, high-impact engineering team embedded within the Go-To-Market organization. Their mission is to make Bloomreach indispensable in sales cycles by developing AI-powered demo environments, solution accelerators, and self-serve tools. The team operates with speed, embraces experimentation, and creates polished, clever products that have an outsized influence on deals with major retailers and brands.

The Role: Demo Engineer

We are seeking a Demo Engineer who is deeply AI-native and possesses expertise in the Shopify ecosystem. This is not a traditional engineering role; it's a 0→1 builder position focused on rapid prototyping and evolving ambiguous presales needs into repeatable demo assets and internal products. You will build the tools and environments that enable the presales team to articulate Bloomreach's platform value effectively, configuring environments, creating agentic workflows, and shipping self-serve tooling for customized demos.

Key responsibilities include working closely with a US-based team lead, requiring strong async collaboration and the ability to connect across time zones.

What You'll Do

• Build AI-powered demo experiences: Design and construct demo environments showcasing Bloomreach's integrated, intelligent commerce solution, with a primary focus on Shopify.
• Enable SC self-service: Develop tools and frameworks allowing Solution Consultants (SCs) to independently create, configure, and personalize demo environments tailored to prospect needs.
• Ship agentic and AI workflows: Implement and maintain AI-driven demo flows, including LLM integrations, agent orchestration, vector search, and real-time personalization.
• Train and enable the field: Ensure the presales team is proficient in using new tools and features through documentation and training.
• Maintain demo reliability: Troubleshoot and ensure high performance of customer-facing demo environments.

Tech Stack

• Primary: TypeScript / JavaScript, Python
• Frontend: React, Next.js
• Backend: Node.js
• AI Tooling: Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent; LLM and agent APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
• Shopify: Hydrogen (Remix-based), Liquid, Storefront API, Admin API
• Version Control: Git

• You are comfortable with async collaboration across EU/US time zones and taking direction from a US-based lead.
• You communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders and collaborate well with Solution Consultants.
• You are proactive and flag blockers early.

Compensation

• Base Salary Range: 130,000—160,000 Kč CZK
• Eligible for Restricted Stock Units or Stock Options.
