For a nationally and internationally operating technical company with approximately 2,000 employees worldwide, ~350 in EMEA, and ~100 employees at its German site in Hamburg, we are seeking you as an International Payroll Specialist (w/m/d) with excellent English skills and a home office component of 2 days per week after successful onboarding!
Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, you can earn up to €75,000 p.a. here.
The full-time position is to be filled via direct placement. This means you will have a permanent employment contract with your new employer from the start, who wishes to employ you for many years.

Responsibilities

- Manage and control the external payroll service provider in all payroll-related matters for the EMEA region and coordinate with local HR colleagues.
- Ensure the correct and timely preparation of monthly payroll for the EMEA companies of the group, including the administration of domestic and foreign employees and the entire reporting and certification system (approx. 350 employees).
- Serve as the central point of contact for company pension schemes in the EMEA region.
- Manage the time tracking system in the EMEA region in collaboration with the HR manager.
- Coordinate external audits with auditors, tax authorities, and social security institutions.
- Work closely with internal and external consultants regarding taxes, social security, and other applicable laws.
- Participate in salary increases and bonus rounds.
- Act as a contact person for insurers and professional liability insurance, and prepare specific certificates.
- Collaborate on EMEA-wide projects for the definition and optimization of HR processes.
- Manage social benefits in the EMEA region.
- Additionally, handle HR reporting and support HR controlling.
- Support HR managers with administrative tasks.
Qualifications
This is what you bring with you:
- You have sound professional experience and knowledge in payroll accounting, tax law, social security law, and labor law, as well as company pension schemes.
- You have gained experience in collaborating with and managing an external payroll service provider.
- In addition, you have professional experience in compensation and benefits, as well as in HR controlling.
- You have knowledge in personnel management and detailed methodological knowledge in business process management and design.
- Furthermore, you possess high customer orientation, reliability, and confidence in dealing with complex cross-border issues.
- You bring strong communication and conflict management skills, as well as a reliable and solution-oriented approach towards clients at various hierarchical levels.
- Ideally, you have good SAP knowledge.
- You have very good written and spoken skills in German and English, ideally in other languages as well.
