Your Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, regulatory obligations, and internal HSE regulations, including monthly HSE reporting to the group.
• Continuously develop, optimize, and implement strategies, systems, processes, and training measures in the HSE area.
• Manage waste, emergency, and hazardous materials protocols, and organize legally required checks, measurements, first aid, and fire protection relevant to work and environmental safety.
• Conduct and document risk assessments according to ArbSchG (German Work Safety Act), GefStoffV (Ordinance on Hazardous Substances), and the Machinery Directive; perform regular workplace inspections and derive necessary measures.
• Act as the central point of contact, advising management and leadership on all aspects of occupational health and safety, accident prevention, work equipment, work procedures, personal protective equipment, and ergonomic workplace design.
• Organize and conduct instructions, training sessions, and HSE audits; create operating and work instructions; analyze workplace accidents and derive preventive measures in close cooperation with external institutions and the company doctor.

Your Qualifications:

• Completed Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician (Techniker) training, or a completed degree in a technical field.
• Qualification as a Safety Engineer or Specialist for Occupational Safety (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit).
• Several years of professional experience in the HSE field within the manufacturing industry, coupled with profound knowledge of labor and environmental law.
• Ideally, additional training as an authorized representative for waste management and/or a fire safety officer.
• Systematic, structured, and goal-oriented work style, strong communication and teamwork skills, and resilience.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
