About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented O2C Senior Accountant to join our Finance team on a temporary contract until the end of August 2027. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OtC) process across Eastern Europe, including Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, and Latvia. Your responsibilities will encompass cash collection, credit risk management, customer account reconciliation, and credit insurance administration. You will also actively contribute to regional finance initiatives, compliance activities, audits, and system/process enhancement projects, collaborating closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics teams.

Responsibilities

Credit & Risk Management:

  • Conduct customer credit assessments, establish credit limits, and approve order releases.
  • Manage relationships with credit insurance providers (e.g., COFACE), including limit monitoring and claims.

Accounts Receivable & Collections:

  • Perform aging analysis, drive collection activities, and resolve payment disputes/deductions.
  • Post and reconcile multi-currency bank statements and resolve unapplied cash.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with local statutory invoicing, including KSeF requirements.
  • Prepare credit risk/AR reports and support month-end closing and audits.

Process Excellence & Systems:

  • Optimize the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OtC) process across the region.
  • Collaborate with Sales, CS, and Logistics, and support continuous SAP enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Collections, or Order-to-Cash processes.
  • Experience managing customer portfolios in an international environment is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of credit risk management, collections, and cash application processes.
  • Experience working with SAP.
  • Very good command of English.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
