Vendor Risk Management Analyst

About the Role

Join GoDaddy's Data Governance & Operations (DGO) team as a Vendor Risk Management (VRM) Analyst. In this remote position, you will be instrumental in supporting the daily activities of GoDaddy's third-party risk program, partnering closely with the VRM Manager to oversee vendor relationships responsibly and effectively. You'll manage intake procedures, support reviews, maintain thorough records, and foster clear communication across teams, bringing structure, organization, and consistency to the program.

What You'll Do

• Manage intake requests for new vendor partnerships, collect necessary documentation, and initiate assessments within the VRM system.
• Monitor the progress of ongoing assessments, engaging with stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain accurate vendor records throughout their lifecycle, including renewals and offboarding.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for business owners, guiding them through the VRM process and clarifying requirements.
• Assist business owners with intake and assessment workflows, identifying and escalating issues as needed.
• Notify subject matter experts in Information Security, Privacy, and Legal about new vendor engagements requiring their review.
• Track outstanding reviews, send follow-up reminders, and report delays to the VRM Manager.

What Your Experience Should Include

• 3+ years of experience in vendor risk management, third-party risk, compliance operations, or a similar administrative/operational role.
• Familiarity with VRM or GRC concepts and common frameworks (e.g., SIG, CAIQ, NIST, SOC 2). Basic understanding of vendor assessment processes is required.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage a high volume of concurrent requests.
• Clear, professional communication and collaboration skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365; experience with GRC or VRM platforms (e.g., OneTrust, ServiceNow) is a plus.
• Comfort working in a distributed environment across different time zones.

You Might Also Have

• Exposure to data privacy concepts (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and their intersection with vendor due diligence.
• Experience with third-party incident notification workflows.
• Familiarity with considerations for AI or emerging technology vendors.
