The Role

Rebag is hiring a passionate Buyer to join our Buying team. The ideal candidate will have experience in luxury goods, exposure to the resale market, and a solid understanding of pricing. This role emphasizes analytics, moving beyond traditional buying to a more conventional approach focused on data-driven decision-making. You will report to the Director of Buying.

Responsibilities

• Researching: Assist the buying team with research across six categories: Handbags, Accessories, Watches, Jewelry, Shoes, and Apparel. This involves understanding the luxury market, knowledge of different luxury brands, and their seasonal collections.
• Pricing: Analyze resale pricing dynamics for luxury goods, research market trends and price comparisons. Work extensively on client submissions, identifying high-end designers, trends, models, and SKUs. Determine buying and resale prices based on market research and establish profit margins.
• General Buying: Organize buying process guides, team learnings, and buying documents. Perform buying support duties such as updating data, exporting and tracking files, and responding to general buying inquiries from other departments.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of solid buying experience acquiring final products at fashion brands or department stores.
• Highly quantitative and comfortable using spreadsheets, Excel, and performing retail math.
• Previous experience managing OTB (Open-to-Buy) is preferred.
• Strong analytical and logical skills.
• Previous luxury and resale knowledge is a plus.
• Strong sense of teamwork, positivity, and ability to take feedback well.
• Ability to organize and multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Research-minded and detail-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while maintaining a positive, ownership-focused mindset.
• Ability to operate fully remotely and digitally, working from home in a professional and rigorous manner.
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
