Growth Product Manager

About HowGood

HowGood is a mission-driven, product-led organization scaling our B2B SaaS platform, Latis. We empower the largest enterprises across the food system to measure and reduce their carbon footprint, generating millions of Product Carbon Footprints (PCFs) monthly. For 20 years, we've been dedicated to transforming the food system by providing Brands, Suppliers, and Retailers with radical transparency into product impact and illuminating actionable paths toward a more regenerative future.

About the Role

The Chief Product Officer is seeking an experienced Growth Product Manager to lead a small, dedicated growth pod comprising a full-stack engineer and a growth marketer. This pod's singular focus is to maximize the volume and velocity of users moving through the funnel. You will operate alongside our core product team, who concentrate on the depth and durability of the platform our customers rely on. While they build for longevity, you'll build to learn: running rapid experiments, shipping quickly, and letting data guide your decisions.

This is a generalist role for someone comfortable with acquisition, conversion, engagement, and retention, understanding the nuanced reality of these stages. It offers an exceptionally tight feedback loop: a small team, clear metrics, and the autonomy to move fast.

AI Fluency Required

Operating at this pace with a small team necessitates fluency with AI tools. We expect you to actively use, adopt, and experiment with AI in your daily work for drafting, analysis, prototyping, research acceleration, and building lightweight internal tools. Equally important is understanding where AI is not suitable for B2B enterprise SaaS tools. Comfort with the tools and sound judgment regarding their limitations are equally valued.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product management of funnel volume and velocity: define, instrument, and improve key metrics.
  • Execute a relentless experimentation cadence with your engineering and marketing counterparts: develop hypotheses, run tests, conduct qualitative research, iterate on shipped features, and repeat.
  • Make sharp prioritization decisions on which experiments to run, maintain, or discontinue.
  • Collaborate across the organization to translate usage signals into product improvements and intelligent interventions.
  • Coordinate with the core product team to ensure growth initiatives and platform work are mutually reinforcing.
  • Identify opportunities from diverse inputs: usage data, customer conversations, internal stakeholder perspectives, and the broader sustainability landscape.
  • Foster a pod culture of experimentation, speed, and intellectual honesty regarding performance.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of Product Management experience in B2B SaaS, with significant focus on growth, lifecycle, or full-funnel product work.
  • Proven ownership of key product metrics, with the ability to articulate how you've moved a funnel.
  • A track record of shipping experiments rapidly and interpreting results with honesty.
  • Strong analytical skills: proficiency in SQL, comfortable with experimentation frameworks, and able to challenge flawed analyses.
  • Experience with technical or data-heavy products.
  • Demonstrated experience in cross-team collaboration, working effectively with engineering, sales, customer success, operations, and senior leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, empathy, and strong listening abilities.
  • Background in sustainability, supply chain, food systems, or climate tech is a plus but not required.

Why work at HowGood?

  • Competitive compensation packages, including health benefits, 401k, and generous leave policies.
  • Remote-first culture with optional offices in Upstate New York (Stone Ridge) and Brooklyn.
  • A flexible, relaxed, yet fast-paced work environment.

Compensation

  • $120,000 - $150,000 a year
  • Salary commensurate with experience.
