MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

We are looking for several French into Portuguese translators and copyeditors to join our growing team for one of our global International Financial/Banking clients. This will be an ongoing project offering steady volumes on a weekly basis, providing a stable partnership opportunity.

MAIN DUTIES

• Translate and copyedit content from French into Portuguese, ensuring the original meaning is conveyed accurately and the translated text is readable and understandable to the target audience.
• Content types include: Banking and Financial Operations.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Minimum of 3 years' experience translating and reviewing content within the Banking and Financial Operations subject matter.
• Proficiency in all areas of expertise: Banking, Financial Operations.
• Previous experience with Financial, Economic, or Banking documents is a plus.
• Well-versed in various translation and terminology management tools.
• Native fluency in the target language (Portuguese).
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely, including character restrictions and specific formatting requirements.
• Capacity to effectively communicate the rationale behind translation choices.
• Proficiency in both translation and review tasks.
• Experience working in a multi-vendor scenario is a plus.
