Location

This position may be performed 100% remotely from anywhere within the United States. The office location is 524 Broadway, Floor 10, New York, NY 10012.

Position Duties

• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance backend services in Golang, deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS, ensuring robustness, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop compliance-focused products for banks, fintechs, and financial institutions, including products for financial risk, reconciliation, and fraud detection.
• Build and implement APIs for banking or payment systems.
• Partner with cross-functional engineering and product teams to coordinate development efforts.
• Develop, refine, and maintain user-facing technical documentation for clarity, accuracy, and accessibility.
• Own the full product lifecycle, including design, implementation, and end-to-end testing using Cypress, Junit, or Mockito, ensuring reliable delivery and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1 year of experience in:
• Integrating/Building APIs for banking or payment systems.
• Building products focused on financial risk, reconciliation, or fraud detection.
• Web Backend Development.
• Developing production applications using Go (Golang).
• Implementing end-to-end test automation using Cypress, Junit, or Mockito.
• AWS Cloud.
• Core banking integrations.

Compensation

$170,000 per year
