The Project: Internal Agentic Platform

Join a founding-stage initiative within one of Europe's largest digital-native groups to build the core internal agentic platform. This platform will enable safe, observable, and reusable AI-driven workflows at marketplace scale, serving as the central engine for agentic engineering across teams. You will define the platform's architecture and features, working with secure agent runtimes, tool gateways, evaluation pipelines, observability systems, and reusable scaffolding for a multi-cloud, multi-stack environment supporting brands like Leboncoin, Kleinanzeigen, and Marktplaats.

What You Will Do

• Build and operate secure agent runtimes with sandboxing, isolation, network policies, secrets management, and RBAC.
• Design and maintain integration surfaces (MCP-style adapters/gateways) for agents to interact with source control, CI/CD, ticketing, documentation, cloud, and observability systems.
• Develop and own the evaluation pipeline for measuring agentic workflow correctness.
• Implement comprehensive observability and cost control, including traces, telemetry, token usage, and rate limits.
• Create reusable scaffolding, templates, and starter kits to promote platform adoption.
• Partner with the AI Architect to translate reference architecture into production-ready code.

What You Will Bring

• Proven track record of shipping production-ready internal developer platforms or tooling.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating secure execution environments at scale.
• Experience shipping integrations across diverse development and cloud systems.
• Proficiency in building or operating tool gateways/adapters for agents.
• An instrumentation-first and SRE mindset, prioritizing reliability, cost control, and observability.
• Experience shipping reusable templates and starter kits that see actual adoption.
• Comfort with modern infrastructure: containers, cloud (AWS or equivalent), IaC, CI/CD, APIs, and scripting.
• Experience supporting multiple engineering teams as internal customers.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with security, legal, and risk stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience building agentic platforms or AI infrastructure.
• Familiarity with MCP integrations or similar agent tool gateway patterns.
• Experience with multi-cloud or multi-stack platform engineering in e-commerce environments.
• Exposure to cost governance, token budgeting, or LLM observability.
