About the Role

  • Drive B2B and B2C communications to position Wing as a viable, present-day delivery option for restaurant and retail partners, influencing their strategic roadmaps.
  • Collaborate closely with Government Affairs and Public Policy teams to engage with aviation authorities, policymakers, and local governments, navigating regulatory landscapes and addressing community concerns related to noise, privacy, and airspace safety.
  • Oversee comprehensive executive communications, thought leadership initiatives, internal communications, and crisis communication frameworks.
  • Translate highly complex autonomous technology into compelling, authentic narratives that resonate with consumers, partners, policymakers, the tech press, and employees.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing communications team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence across internal, external, policy, and product disciplines.

What You’ll Need

  • 20+ years of experience in strategic communications, public relations, or corporate affairs, preferably within scaled consumer-focused environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Policy, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing reputational risk and developing corporate narratives for companies undergoing rapid commercial scaling or regulatory scrutiny.
  • Proven track record of managing multifaceted communications teams spanning internal, external, product, and policy functions.
  • Exceptional executive presence and proven experience advising C-suite leadership on thought leadership and crisis management.
