Senior Product Designer at Fundraise Up
About Fundraise Up
Fundraise Up is a global fundraising platform dedicated to making donations to nonprofits fast, seamless, and accessible. Our technology powers tens of millions of dollars in donations monthly, focusing on innovations that boost results, such as faster load times, higher conversion rates, global payment support, and accessibility-first design. Trusted by leading nonprofits like UNICEF and the Alzheimer’s Association, we are recognized for both our product quality and impact.
A Truly Global Product
We serve nonprofit organizations across North America, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Europe in the enterprise segment. Our platform is a complex ecosystem encompassing a modern checkout experience, customizable widgets (SPAs), donor, organization, and partner portals, admin tools, and internal applications.
The Team
We are a distributed team of over 160 product professionals, primarily based across Spain, Poland, Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Turkey, and Cyprus. Despite our size, we operate with the focus of a small team, valuing every task and every voice. We emphasize thoughtful collaboration, strong engineering practices, and a product-centric mindset.
About The Role
As a Senior Product Designer at Fundraise Up, you will do more than just design interfaces; you will tackle complex UX architecture challenges across our global donation ecosystem. Embedded within a cross-functional squad, you will own a specific product domain while influencing the broader platform. Your work will bridge the gap between enterprise-grade B2B tools and user-friendly B2C checkout experiences. Operating at a massive scale, your design decisions will directly impact conversion rates and the total amount raised for nonprofits. We seek a systems thinker with deep user empathy, a keen understanding of business logic, edge cases, and technical constraints.
What You'll Do
- Drive End-to-End Product Design: Partner with Product Owners, engineers, and analysts to transform ambiguous problems into polished, shipped solutions, determining the optimal design approach to achieve business goals.
- Make Data-Informed Decisions: Collaborate with UX Research and Analytics teams to form hypotheses, conduct tests, and translate user behavior into actionable insights.
- Evolve Our Ecosystem: Ensure consistency across portals, widgets, and admin tools while managing complex technical dependencies.
- Leverage AI: Actively use AI in your daily workflow, identify opportunities where AI reshapes problems, and enhance your fluency with AI tools. AI is a default tool, not an experiment, at Fundraise Up.
- Champion Accessibility: Design intuitive, inclusive interfaces that meet WCAG standards, ensuring our platform is accessible to all users.
Requirements
- Proven Senior Experience: 5+ years of product design experience, ideally within complex B2B SaaS, FinTech, or large-scale e-commerce environments.
- Systems-Thinking Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing shipped products that demonstrate problem-solving, navigation of complex flows, and measurement of design impact (include case studies of your process).
- Research & Data Foundation: Fundamental understanding of research methodologies, key metric tracking, and data-driven validation of design decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and product teams, negotiating trade-offs while prioritizing user experience.
- Language: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher English proficiency for seamless communication within our distributed team.
Strong Plus
- Experience designing payment flows, checkouts, or FinTech products with a focus on conversion rate optimization.
- Advanced prototyping and motion design skills.
- Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, React).
- Background in nonprofit tech or a strong personal passion for NGO impact.
