About the Role

Mitratech is looking for a Senior Learning Experience Designer to manage the entire lifecycle of high-impact learning creation, from identifying learning needs to designing and developing final courses. This hybrid role is part of the People & L&D team and requires close collaboration with HR business partners, subject matter experts, and department leads. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of design thinking, development skills, and a learner-centered approach.

Responsibilities

  • Lead needs analyses and performance consulting conversations with business stakeholders.
  • Define learning strategy, objectives, and success metrics aligned with business outcomes.
  • Develop high-quality, on-brand scripts, storyboards, facilitator guides, and workbooks.
  • Apply adult learning principles (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy) for effective content structuring.
  • Design comprehensive learning journeys for onboarding, leadership, and skills programs.
  • Present learning proposals and program recommendations to L&D and HR Leadership.
  • Manage SME engagement, including facilitating content workshops, feedback cycles, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Evaluate program impact using frameworks like Kirkpatrick and report findings clearly to executives.
  • Lead the development of complex interactive courses using Articulate Storyline and Rise 360, mentoring other team members.
  • Package and publish SCORM/xAPI-compliant modules and manage LMS configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Produce and direct supporting assets such as graphics, screen recordings, animations, and short-form video.
  • Establish and maintain QA processes and development standards for the L&D team.
  • Own reporting on course effectiveness and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

Requirements & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in L&D roles, encompassing both instructional design and eLearning development.
  • Expert proficiency in Articulate 360 (Storyline + Rise).
  • Solid understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design models.
  • Experience with SCORM/xAPI and enterprise Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Exceptional ability to write clearly and translate complex information for non-expert audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and SME relationships concurrently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, suitable for writing for learners, presenting to leaders, and facilitating workshops.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Master’s degree or professional certification (ATD CPTD, CIPD) is preferred.
